Looking for a place to work through some ideas in clay? Here is your chance! Maybe you want to make mugs for the whole family? Or recreate a blue heron lamp that you made in college? Bring your ideas to this clay open studio and JJ will help you bring them to life!

Students will have access to all of the studio’s clay tools and be provided with five pounds of clay to create with. More clay is available for purchase.

All skill levels are welcome! If you are a beginner, JJ will happily walk you through one of our sample projects.

Cost of class covers 1 large slab of clay, or 5 pounds of clay for sculpture projects, and a reasonable amount of glaze or underglaze and firing of your projects. Additional slabs are $10 each + an additional $10 firing fee. Additional glazing fees or purchasing your own glazes may be required for larger projects. Glazing options can be discussed on an individual basis.

All works will be fired in our kiln and will be ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks.
