Learn how to construct a drawing from the ground up!

Set in a supportive and positive environment, come learn how to sketch for the first time or to gain more experience and confidence in your current drawing skills. We will be working on line drawing, shading and composition, in graphite as well as charcoal. You will learn how to focus on breaking objects down into basic shapes to quickly, and without fussing, draw what you see.

No experience necessary, all skill levels accepted. The Instructor begins working with each student at their own individual skill level and guides them to grow in their own style and direction, even if they do not know what that may be yet! Come and find out!

OPEN STUDIO: Immediately following this 4 week course, open studio sessions on the same day and time will be available to you so that you can continue improving your drawing skills with your instructor on hand. Cost for open studio is $25 for two hour sessions.
