Alecia Daves Johnson
Along with restoring houses and giving furniture new life, Alecia Daves-Johnson can be found weaving baskets, chair bottoms, and most recently a reed quiver for her son’s bow and arrow set. She has a penchant for artisan craft work, especially art that is functional.
When she isn't enjoying craft time, she is a chauffeur and laundry maid for two children. She and her husband live in a home which they deconstructed, restored, and reconstructed along the Appomattox River.
